About Us
The St. Francis Xavier School Home and School Association is a group of volunteers (families and staff) who strive to support the St. Francis Xavier School in Winooski, VT through fundraising, volunteerism, and community engagement.
Throughout the years, we have had the pleasure of funding various school projects, events, and annual monetary donations. Our primary goal is to serve the students, staff, and families in ways which foster a fun and supportive learning environment.
We invite you to join us for a meeting, to chair a event committee, or to just volunteer your time at one of these events!
Mission
The mission of the Saint Francis Xavier School Home and School Association is to provide assistance and help to the school through fundraising efforts, volunteerism, and community. We will keep the Catholic faith, students, staff, and families’ needs at the forefront of our minds at all times.
The Home & School Association is a parent organization that takes pride in the school and in providing a helping hand to teachers, staff, and administration.
Objectives According to the By-Laws:
- To promote the ideals of Catholic Education.
- To promote open communication among the parents, teachers and administration.
- To promote the welfare of the students and families at St. Francis Xavier School
- To promote goodwill and cooperation between and among parents, faculty, administration, and the parish of St. Francis Xavier.
- To direct and coordinate parental support to St. Francis Xavier School through assistance, activities, social functions and fundraisers.
- To respect and support the established school policies, and practices as set forth by the Diocesan Superintendent of Schools, the Pastor of St. Francis Xavier Parish and the School Principal.
